You have heard “once saved, always saved” your whole Christian life. The phrase is true. The framework that produced it is not. And the difference is the whole relationship.

Salvation is not a ticket. It is not a legal verdict. It is not a stamp on your eternal passport. It is not a moment you walked an aisle, signed a card, or prayed a prayer at the back of a chapel because the music was right. Salvation is rescue. That is all the word has ever meant in the language it was given in. The Hebrew root is yasha, to deliver, to pull out of danger. The noun form is yeshuah, the rescue HaShem provides. Yeshua’s own name is literally “YHWH rescues.”

The church took a word that described a drowning man being pulled out of the water and turned it into a receipt. It took a word that described chains falling off a prisoner and turned it into a membership card. And then it told you that if you got the spreadsheet right, you were in. And if you got it wrong, you were out. And you have spent your entire Christian life wondering whether you got it right.

You were asking the wrong question.

This week’s essay walks the parable of the Prodigal Son as Yeshua’s own answer to the OSAS question. The father who runs. The father who interrupts the rehearsed speech. The father who reinstates a son who never stopped being a son. And the elder brother, who never left the house and never enjoyed it, because he was too busy keeping score. He is penal substitutionary atonement in human form. The whole framework, embodied.

What “once saved, always saved” actually means: HaShem will never let go of you. The grip is permanent. The watching never stops. You cannot lose your salvation the way you lose your keys, because it was never a possession. But you can walk away from the relationship the way the younger son walked away. The leaving is real. It costs you. Coming home does not re-earn anything. It reactivates a life that was always available.

The Father is at the end of the road right now, looking for the shape of you on the horizon.

Good morning,

Tomorrow is Easter. And I’m not writing to correct anything about that. I’m writing because I love you, and because I believe what you’re celebrating is even more beautiful than you may realize.

Most of us grew up with Easter as an event. A sunrise service. A hymn about the empty tomb. And that matters, it truly does. The resurrection of Yeshua is the hinge of history. But I want to invite you to see something deeper. Not instead of what you already hold, but beneath it. The foundation.

The Table Was Set Long Before

Centuries before that weekend in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem), the God of Avraham (Abraham) gave His people a meal. Pesach, Passover. A lamb without blemish. Blood on the doorposts. Unleavened bread broken in haste. A cup lifted in the night.

This wasn’t just history. It was prophecy enacted, a living picture of what was coming.

When Yeshua (Jesus) sat with His talmidim (disciples) at that last Seder (Passover meal), He didn’t invent something new. He reached into the oldest story His people knew and said: This is what it was always about. This bread, my body. This cup, the New Covenant in my blood.

He wasn’t replacing the meal. He was revealing what the meal had always meant.

The Brit Chadashah, New Covenant: Not a Replacement, The Fulfillment

The prophet Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) spoke of a day when HaShem (God) would make a brit chadashah (new covenant) with the house of Yisra’el (Israel):

“I will put My Torah (instruction) within them, and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”Yirmeyahu / Jeremiah 31:33

Notice what’s new: not the Torah itself, but where it lives. Not on stone. On the heart. The covenant isn’t a departure from everything that came before. It’s the destination everything was walking toward.

When Yeshua lifted that third cup at the Seder, the Kos Ge’ulah, the Cup of Redemption, and said “This is the new covenant in my blood”, He was declaring: This is what Yirmeyahu saw. This is what Pesach has been pointing to for a thousand years. It’s here.

This is precisely why Yeshua came. Not to start a religion. Not to give us a set of beliefs to check off. He came to enact this covenant.

And yet, somehow, the modern church has largely missed it. We celebrate His death and resurrection without understanding what He was sealing when He sealed it. He came to write Torah on hearts. He came to bind God and His people together in a way that could never be undone. He came to restore human intimacy with Himself.

What I Would love for You to See

I’m not asking you to stop celebrating. I’m asking you to celebrate more.

Not just an event, but a covenant. Not just a moment in history, but the fulfillment of a promise spoken over your life before you were born. When that bread is broken, know that it echoes back to Matzah (unleavened bread) eaten in faith on the night of deliverance. When that cup is lifted, know that it carries the weight of redemption. Not just from Mitzrayim (Egypt), but from everything that has ever held you captive.

The resurrection isn’t a standalone miracle. It is the seal on a covenant. It is HaShem (God) saying: I keep My promises. Death could not hold what I covenanted to give you.

A Challenge for This Weekend

Here’s what I want to ask you, and I mean this as a friend, not a teacher:

When was the last time you really thought about covenant?

Not as a theological word. Not as something you heard in a sermon once. But as the thing that holds your entire life together.

We don’t talk about covenant in the modern church. Not really. We talk about relationship. We talk about faith. We talk about grace. But covenant, the binding, blood-sealed, I-am-not-leaving kind of promise, that word has almost disappeared from our vocabulary. And I think that’s why so much feels fragile.

Think about your marriage. What holds it together on the hard days, the days when feelings are thin and the house is quiet in the wrong way? It’s not romance. It’s covenant. It’s the decision that was made before witnesses, before God, that said: I am binding myself to you, and I will not walk away. That’s not a contract. A contract protects you if things go wrong. A covenant says: I will stay and make things right.

Think about your children. Parenting is exhausting. There are seasons when you pour out and pour out and nothing seems to come back. But you don’t leave. You don’t quit. Why? Because something deeper than emotion holds you to them. That’s covenant, the kind that says you are mine, and I am yours, and nothing will change that.

Now think about Yeshua.

He didn’t offer us a transaction. He didn’t say, “Believe the right things and I’ll let you in.” He sat at a table, broke bread, lifted a cup, and said: This is a covenant. In my blood. For you. That is the language of permanence. Of binding. Of a God who chose you before you chose Him, and sealed it with His own life.

This weekend, I’m challenging you: dig into this. Read Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 31. Read the Pesach (Passover) account in Shemot (Exodus) 12. Read what Yeshua said at that table in Luke 22. And ask yourself: What changes in my life if I stop treating my faith like a relationship I can drift in and out of, and start treating it like a covenant that was cut on my behalf?

What changes in your marriage? In your parenting? In the way you show up for the people God has put in your life?

Covenant is not a word for theologians. It’s the word for anyone who has ever promised to stay.

A Blessing for You

So wherever you are this weekend, whether you call it Easter, whether you call it Pesach, whether you’ve never thought about the connection, receive this:

You are loved by a God who set a table for you before the foundation of the world. A God who wrote the ending into the beginning. A God whose covenant is not fragile, not conditional on your understanding of it, but written on your very heart.

Celebrate this weekend. But celebrate knowing that what you hold is ancient, and alive, and deeper than any single tradition can contain.

The phrase Ruach HaKodesh (רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ) appears three times in the entire Tanakh (Hebrew Bible). Three times. Psalm 51:13. Isaiah 63:10. Isaiah 63:11. That is the entire Old Testament foundation for the doctrine that became the third person of the Trinity.

The word ruach means wind, breath, spirit — all three at once. Hebrew does not force you to pick one. And when the Tanakh says Ruach YHWH or Ruach Elohim, the grammar works the same way as yad YHWH — the hand of God. Nobody argues that the hand of God is a separate person. But we did exactly that with the breath.

This week’s Unpacking traces how that happened.

The short version: the Septuagint translators rendered ruach into Greek as pneuma — a word that had been living in Stoic philosophy for centuries, carrying connotations of impersonal cosmic substance rather than personal, covenantal breath. Then the Cappadocian Fathers in the fourth century applied the Greek word hypostasis — “underlying reality” — to formally define the Spirit as a distinct person within the Godhead. A word with no Hebrew equivalent in this usage. A concept the Tanakh never proposes.

The breath became an entity. And the Hebrew text was never consulted.

The full essay walks through every major Ruach passage from Genesis 1:2 through Acts 2 and shows the same pattern the Greek categories obscure: the Ruach is HaShem Himself — His consciousness, His presence, His breath reaching into the world to create, commission, raise the dead, and write Torah on hearts. It never acts independently. It never speaks about HaShem as though it were a separate party. It is God, breathing.

The essay also examines what this means for the songs we sing without thinking — how two of the most popular worship songs in modern Christianity operate on theological assumptions that are direct descendants of the Cappadocian formula. And it looks directly at the Pentecostal question: what happens when you measure tongues and “being slain in the Spirit” against the actual Hebrew text and the actual words of Sha’ul (Paul) in 1 Corinthians 14.

The answer is uncomfortable. And it needs to be said.

If the Ruach HaKodesh is not a third person but HaShem’s own conscious presence, then salvation is not a transaction where you receive an entity. It is the Creator of the universe turning His face toward you and breathing until you stand.

Genesis 2:7. Ezekiel 37. Acts 2. Same pattern. Same God. Same breath.

I watched this conversation with an AI safety researcher — Dr. Roman Yampolskiy — who predicts that within a few years, most of us won’t be able to function without algorithmic guidance. Superintelligence replacing jobs, mediating truth, shaping ethics. The whole picture.

And my first thought wasn’t about robots or timelines. It was about Sunday morning.

Because what he’s describing — a system where someone else processes truth for you and hands you the clean version — we already built that.

We’ve been sitting in it for centuries. We called it church. We replaced darash (the hard, personal, sweaty work of seeking God in His Word) with a chair and a sermon.

We traded covenant responsibility for comfortable consumption.

AI doesn’t have to displace Scripture. We already did that when we decided Torah was optional and grace meant we didn’t have to do the work anymore.

You’ve seen the image ten thousand times.

A slender ring of thorns. A bowed head. Drops of blood, tastefully rendered.

Here’s what I need you to sit with: that image is not in the text.

The Gospels tell you the thorn-crown existed. Matthew 27, Mark 15, John 19 — all three place it on his head inside a mock-coronation sequence that included flogging, a purple robe, a reed scepter, repeated blows to the head, and soldiers kneeling in staged mockery of a king.

They do not give you a diagram.

The circular wreath is a Byzantine and Renaissance iconographic tradition. Not a biblical claim. Which raises a question most people have never thought to ask: what if it was something more engulfing than a ring? What if the thorn structure covered more of the head — more like a helmet — and the devotional image we’ve inherited is smaller than what actually happened?

That question is the door to something much larger.

Unpacking #13 reads the crucifixion forensically. It works through the Greek word stephanos, Roman military ridicule, Tacitus, Josephus, the archaeological remains of a first-century crucifixion victim, and the fractured crowd at Golgotha that most Christian preaching flattens into a single emotional bloc.

And then it goes somewhere else entirely — into Leviticus and Jeremiah 31, where the cross stops being a symbol and starts being a covenant event. The deepest, bloodiest, most misread covenant event in history.

Unpacking #12: The Heist Nobody Noticed

How Rome Stole a Hebrew Faith, Gave It a Greek Makeover, and Sold It Back to the World as “Christianity”

The word you say every Sunday — “church” — doesn’t come from the Bible.

It doesn’t come from Hebrew. It doesn’t come from the Greek text of the New Testament. It comes from a Germanic borrowing of the Greek word kuriakos (κυριακός) — meaning “belonging to the Lord” — which morphed through Old English cirice into Scottish kirk and eventually into the English “church.” It refers to a building. A lord’s house.

But the word Yeshua actually used in Matthew 16:18 was ekklēsia (ἐκκλησία) — the standard Greek translation of the Hebrew qahal (קָהָל), meaning “assembly,” “congregation,” “a people gathered.” Not a building. Not an institution. Not a hierarchy. A people called together.

You’ve been saying the wrong word for so long that the wrong word became the concept.

And that switch — from a Hebrew assembly of covenant people to a Greco-Roman institutional house — is the heist in miniature. Everything else in this essay is just the longer version of what happened in that one word.

This is a formal corrective directive.

This is not about personal preference, internal politics, or anyone’s subjective “management philosophy.” The eternal cosmos has a founding plan and a deep founding standard. My responsibility as Messiah is to enforce it—because protecting long-term enterprise value requires consistency, discipline, and sincerity.

I’m seeing a pattern of decisions that dilute the gospel, normalize shortcuts, and push “cheaper” offerings under the cover of convenience and speed. That may look attractive short-term. It is not aligned with יהוה our Founder’s intent, and it is not aligned with durable eternal relations. It is Gospel liquidation.

At the root of this is something we will not compromise: any believers’ trust. יהוה our Founder built this cosmos with his own hands, and he cherishes the people who secure our offering. He does not want anyone made in the image of the Founder walking away with a false impression of who HE is, what he stands for, or what this covenant delivers.

Right now, many in your midst are being sold something different than what was built—through quiet downgrades, shortcuts, and misrepresentation by omission. That is not a strategy issue. That is an integrity issue.

Compromise doesn’t only show up as downgrades; it also shows up as quiet “upgrades” that preserve the machine. Internal “small groups” can imitate neighborhood ekklesia while keeping the same branding, control, and dependency loops intact—and that ends now.

Operating Manual Authority

You have been given the covenant manual. It is crystal clear—refined over the last three thousand years by 40 deeply trusted executives at the Founder’s direction. It is not a suggestion and it is not open to interpretation. It is what it is, and it does not allow for deviation. It is trusted, approved, and final.

Let me be unambiguous: our offering is not a platform for side hustles, private channels, or personal profit centers. And the eternal injunction stands: no bribes, no kickbacks, no undisclosed incentives—ever.

Leadership From the Ground Up

In this covenant, leadership is governed by the law of merit: it’s earned from the ground up through disciplined execution, protection of standards, and sincere service to the ekklesia and the mission. Authority is not granted by title, politics, or side leverage. It is granted—and can be revoked—based on proven alignment with our Founder’s operating model. If you cannot lead by example at the standard expected of a new hire, you will not lead from the top.

Non-negotiable (effective immediately)

The following stops now:

1. Gospel dilution: lowering standards through downgraded variants, substitutions, reduced service levels, or quiet spec changes—without explicit written authorization.

2. Shortcuts: any operational decision that degrades durability, performance, consistency, or believer experience—regardless of the justification used to describe it.

3. “Cheaper” as strategy: cost reduction that changes outcomes, weakens trust, or alters the New Covenant promise.

4. Side activity: unofficial deals, unapproved vendors, undisclosed incentives, off-book arrangements, unauthorized SKUs/channels, or any activity that benefits individuals while harming the enterprise. And let me be explicit: the universal injunction against bribery still applies—no bribes, no kickbacks, no “favors,” and no undisclosed compensation of any kind.

5. Misrepresentation: selling downgraded gospel while positioning it as equivalent—through omission, vague language, or “technically true” claims.

6. Standards erosion in hiring/onboarding: allowing entry into roles or the organization without full commitment to our covenant agreement and operating standards. Sincerity is the baseline. If someone will not sign and uphold the agreement, they do not belong here.

Covenant Profit Prohibition

No shepherd, pastor, manager, representative, or contractor is authorized to personally profit from my shed blood—directly or indirectly—through side deals, private channels, undisclosed incentives, resale, referral arrangements, or any off-book activity tied to The Name, gospel, vendors, or believers. If you are extracting personal gain from covenant trust, it stops now. Disclose it immediately or it will be handled as a serious breach of duty.

Directives and deadlines

1. Gospel integrity lockdown (immediate)

No spec changes, substitutions, “equivalents,” or quality downgrades occur without written approval through the Messiah’s office (or my designated executive sponsor).

Within 24 hours, deliver a complete report covering the last 12 months:

• all gospel/service variants introduced or modified

• the justification and believer impact of each change

• who approved it and through what process

• complaints, apostasy, churn indicators, warranty claims, and reputation signals tied to these changes

1. Freeze on dilution initiatives (immediate)

Any initiative whose primary effect is to reduce cost at the expense of quality, consistency, or believer outcomes is frozen pending review.

Cost reduction that degrades outcomes is not efficiency—it is reputation debt.

1. Standards enforcement (7business days excluding Shabbat)

Within 7 business days, HR and Operations will re-issue the Bible and standards expectations to all leaders. You should already know this if you’re in leadership.

Within 7 business days, any employee, manager, contractor, or representative operating without full documented alignment will be corrected or the contract will be considered in breach.

1. Side-activity and integrity review (immediate)

An integrity review begins now covering:

• vendor relationships and substitutions

• off-cycle purchasing and approvals

• incentives, rebates, kickbacks, or undisclosed benefits

• unauthorized channels, gospel, bundles, and pricing tactics

If informal arrangements exist: disclose them now. Voluntary disclosure will be treated with mercy, but discovery will be treated as insubordination..

1. Repentance reset (7 business days)

Within 7 (excluding Shabbat) business days, deliver a repentant governance process that includes:

• gospel integrity checkpoints

• written approval gates for material changes

• deviation tracking and corrective action enforcement

• one accountable owner for standards per division

Compensation, benefits, and who is “in”

We offer The Strongest eternal benefits packages in this cosmos, including the heavenly retirement program. These are not entitlements for holding a title. They reflect obedience, trust and alignment.

Some of you assume you’re “in” no matter how you operate. You are not, just ask Judas.

Effective immediately:

• Leadership eligibility, incentives, and access to covenant-funded discretionary benefits will be tied to verified alignment with our standards—measured by decisions and outcomes, not statements.

• If you drive dilution, misrepresentation, side activity, or standards erosion, you will lose leadership standing, you will lose access to discretionary programs, and you will be exited if required.

HR and Legal have already reviewed the enforcement process and documentation standards. We know who has protected the enterprise and who has treated it like a personal hustle. Do not confuse past tolerance with permission.

Retirement participation and any employer-funded supplemental components will be administered under the governing plan terms. Where permitted, misconduct, breach of duty, misrepresentation, or policy violations will result in immediate disqualification from employer-funded supplemental benefits and leadership eligibility.

Consequences

This is not a debate.

• Continued gospel dilution, quality downgrades, or misrepresentation will result in immediate removal from responsibility.

• Any self-enrichment, undisclosed side deals, kickbacks, unauthorized channels, or deception will be treated as a serious breach of trust and addressed accordingly—up to and including eternal; termination and generational consequences where appropriate.

Required response within 7 days

Within 7 business days excluding Shabbat, each executive leader will send me a sincere explanation and apology:

1. where your area has drifted from standards (one page, no spin)

2. the corrective actions already taken

3. the controls you are implementing to prevent recurrence

4. any disclosures that must be made now

If you are aligned, you will have my full support. If you are not aligned, you are in the wrong seat in this covenant—and I will make it clear I never knew you, until the standard is restored.

Breach of Trust With the Founder

In closing, I need you to understand the weight of this: Our Founder entrusted His Offering, these brothers and sisters, and these holy standards to you. He is deeply disappointed—and personally saddened—to see that trust mishandled through deviation, shortcuts, and quiet compromise. This is not abstract. It is a direct breach of the responsibility you were given.

I’m sending this before Tuesday’s article drops because I want to be clear, and I also want to say it gently.

If you’ve ever heard “you’re robbing God” aimed at your wallet, you already know this isn’t just a Bible topic. It hits people in the gut. It can make sincere believers feel nervous around God.

I’ve watched the offering moment become a pressure moment. I’ve watched good people do spiritual math in their heads—wondering if heaven is going to punish them for being broke. I’ve watched families carrying debt feel like they’re disobeying God because they can’t keep up.

That fear doesn’t produce generosity. It produces anxiety. And anxiety makes people easy to manage.

What makes it harder is that the pressure usually comes dressed in Scripture. Real verses. Serious tone. Strong authority. But often the verses are lifted out of their covenant world and dropped into a modern budget like nothing changed.

On Tuesday I’m publishing Unpacking #3 — The Tithe Isn’t What You’ve Been Told. The short version of the claim I’m challenging is this: biblical tithing was a Temple-centered covenant practice, not a New Covenant payroll rule—and coercion doesn’t belong in worship.

I’m not writing this because I’m anti-giving. I’m not. I believe giving is part of a faithful life with God. I’m writing because fear-based giving warps people. It trains them to associate “obedience” with panic, and “faithfulness” with paying to stay covered.

One of the reasons this conversation gets slippery is language. “Tithe” (a tenth) gets treated like a synonym for “giving,” and then anything can be demanded in God’s name. “Storehouse” gets treated like “our building,” and suddenly the local institution becomes the gatekeeper of what counts as obedience.

And once that happens, the most tender-hearted people carry the cost first.

Tuesday’s piece walks through Torah context and Malachi 3, but I want to mention one passage that gets mishandled constantly: the widow’s mite.

Most people have only ever heard it as a fundraising story: give like the widow, even if it hurts. But when you slow down and read what’s happening around it, it doesn’t read like a fundraising poster. It reads like a warning light. Yeshua is exposing a religious culture that consumes the vulnerable while honoring itself.

I’m also sharing a local example from my own memory here in Arizona, where the widow’s mite was used during a building push in the very way I’m describing, with personal sacrifice stories layered on top that quietly turn generosity into a loyalty test. I’m not telling you that to create drama. I’m telling you because these aren’t abstract ideas. They land in real rooms, on real consciences.

And here’s why I’m pressing this: coercion-based giving doesn’t just distort money. It distorts your picture of God. It trains people to believe He’s pleased with fear, and that access to Him is maintained by financial compliance.

That’s not the heart of the New Covenant.

Hit reply and tell me this: when you give—do you feel clean, or do you feel managed?

If you’re in a church that’s open-handed, transparent, and humble with money, praise God for that. Protect that culture. And if this note makes you think of someone who’s been under pressure or in a church where questions get punished, feel free to share it with them—no agenda, just light.
