Truly inspired. Truly a holy time. I wish I had started on this journey 50 years ago. I am sorry for all the other holidays that I celebrated that had nothing to do with God’s true appointments. I am definitely a late bloomer. Praise the Lord that the workers who arrived last in Matthew 20 got the same reward. There is hope and it is never too late to begin!
I have been looking expectantly at every Rosh Hashanah every year for the past 15 or so years! Soon! But thank you for a richer more in depth inside look!
The central problem of our age is not liberalism or modernism, nor the old Roman Catholicism or the new Roman Catholicism, nor the threat of communism, nor even the threat of rationalism and the monolithic consensus which Surrounds us. All these are dangerous but not the primary threat. The real problem is this: the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, individually corporately, tending to do the Lord’s work in the power of the flesh rather than of the Spirit. The central problem is always in the midst of the people of God, not in the circumstances surrounding them.
We Goyim have been taught that the Fall Feasts are for the fulfillment of the end. Sukkot is fulfilled in the Millennial reign. The blast probably with the catching away. Yom Kippur with the possibly ten years of Awe between the blast and the celebration of the 2nd coming. Every year I wonder if this is the year.
in a way, i see it as WE who are believers in Messiah ARE His trumpet/shofar, as we share with others about the gospel of His having been resurrected and His soon coming Kingdom. 8-)
